Family Support Programs
Our Case Management Team provides quality, family-centered case management, support services, and resources to families affected by autism.
Case Management
Provided as a wrap-around service for all families and individuals served within The Ackerman Center, our Case Management Team supports referrals and provides resources to navigate the medical, behavioral, educational and community needs for the neurodiverse family.
*Spanish support is available.
Family Empowerment Workshop Series
Our family empowerment workshops are a structured, and collaborative educational workshops/trainings designed to empower and support families, caregivers and professional by providing knowledge, technical skills, and valuable resources. Continue to check back regularly as well as sign up for our newsletter for updates on new workshops and events that we add to our program calendar.
Sibshops
Sibshops are designed for children with siblings diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD) and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. This program helps your child feel unique, as well as better understand and adapt to the challenges of ASD, FASD and other neurodevelopmental disabilities within the family. We offer clinic workshops and community outings that promote positivity and enrich the lives of children and their families.
SNO (Social Night Out)
This program is for teens and young adults in our Vocational Program. The program is designed for teens and young adults with ASD to socialize, create connections, and make long lasting friendships along the way. Social Night Out consists of different themes, activities, and social outings.
