Las Vegas Valley Summer Resources: Camps, Classes, Events, and More

Summer is just around the corner, and families across the Las Vegas Valley are looking for ways to keep kids active, engaged, and learning. We wanted to help out! We’ve compiled a wide-ranging list of local camps, educational tools, community programs, and free events that offer something for every age and interest. Whether you’re looking for a week-long camp or free online resources, this guide has you covered.

Summer Camps in the Las Vegas Area

Farm Camp – Horses 4 Heroes Inc.
This interactive, hands-on camp includes horse handling, barnyard buddies, horse chores, and mini horse sessions. Ages are grouped appropriately, and lunch is served on Wednesdays. Camps run Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., ending at noon on Fridays.

Discovery Children’s Museum Summer Camps
These educational camps focus on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) through interactive exhibits and activities.

No Limits Summer Camp
Offering specialized programming in a structured environment, No Limits provides a supportive summer experience with a wide range of engaging activities.

Clark County Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp
Kids can explore, create, and connect with peers under the guidance of professional staff. Early registration is recommended, as space fills quickly.

Champions Champ Camp
Designed for ages 5 to 12, this camp offers both full-time and part-time care. Campers engage in team-building, skill development, and hands-on learning projects.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada Summer Program
Youth ages 5–12 can join for $100 per week at select locations, while teens aged 13–18 attend free. Programming includes meals, games, and even workforce development for teens. Financial assistance is available for qualifying households.

Free, shelf-stable meals served Monday–Friday from 3–5 p.m. and Saturdays from 12–2 p.m. at participating libraries. Meals must be eaten on-site and are available to children up to age 18.

Silverton Mermaid Shows
Kids will be captivated by live mermaid performances:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Thursday to Saturday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Sunday: 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
